Manager, Resilient Middle Georgia
Community Projects Manager, Crisis Line & Safe House of Central Georgia and One Safe Place Macon
Amanda Juarez serves as the Manager of Resilient Middle Georgia and Community Projects Manager with the Crisis Line & Safe House of Central Georgia. Her leadership focuses on strengthening rural collaboration and advancing equity-driven, community-based strategies that address the social determinants of health and their connection to trauma and chronic stress.
Amanda oversees all aspects of operations and process management for RMG, including communications and external relations, training and capacity building, initiative coordination, grant reporting, and budget management. She also supports coalition development, data analysis, and evaluation efforts to improve outcomes for underserved populations through collaboration, education, and shared impact.
Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with highest honors, from Middle Georgia State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH) at the University of California, Berkeley, where she is a Rural Health Innovation Scholar and Policy Fellow. She is dedicated to improving outcomes for underserved populations through equity-driven, trauma-informed approaches that foster resilience and healing, with the goal of breaking generational cycles and building healthier futures for communities.

Director of Workforce Strategy & Initiatives, Resilient Georgia
Dr. Andrea Meyer Stinson received her Ph.D. from Florida State University, M.S. from Purdue University, and B.A./B.S. from the University of Georgia. She is currently the Director of Workforce Strategy & Initiatives for Resilient Georgia. For the past twenty years, Dr. Meyer Stinson was teaching undergraduate, graduate, and medical students. From 2011-2023 she was a professor in Mercer University’s School of Medicine. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. She has worked therapeutically with children, couples, families, and communities since 2001.
Her clinical experience has occurred in a variety of settings including residential, day treatment, and outpatient mental health as well as integrative behavioral health. She is trained in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP). Dr. Meyer Stinson is the Past President for the Georgia Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (GAMFT) and former board member for Resilient Georgia. She enjoys reading, spending time with her family, hiking, and planning for vacations!

Public Health Communications & Research Intern
Raidah Rahman is a first-year Master of Public Health (MPH) student at Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health, concentrating in Global Health. She previously served as an AmeriCorps Youth Refugee Educational Specialist with Catholic Charities, where she supported refugee youth through mentorship and academic guidance. With a background as a medical assistant and extensive volunteer experience in community clinics, Raidah is passionate about health equity, community engagement, and addressing the social determinants of health. She hopes to attend medical school and integrate her public health training into a future career focused on improving access to care for underserved populations.
In her role with Resilient Middle Georgia, Raidah supports the development of strategic communications and research materials, including infographics, policy briefs, and newsletters, while embedding evidence-based public health research into all content. She also assists with data collection, evaluation, and digital storytelling to highlight trauma-informed practices and resilience-building efforts across Middle Georgia.
