RESILIENT MIDDLE GEORGIA REGION:

BALDWIN, CRAWFORD, HOUSTON, JONES, MACON-BIBB, MONROE, PEACH, PULASKI, PUTNAM, TWIGGS, AND WILKINSON COUNTIES

Coalition History

In 2019, Resilient Georgia, a dynamic statewide non-profit organization dedicated to cultivating, financing, and bolstering regional coalitions across the state, piloted the inaugural round of funding to four regional grantees: Savannah, Athens, Augusta, and Macon - kicking off the inception of our coalition, Resilient Middle Georgia (RMG)!

Each regional group was united in the mission to address Positive and Adverse Childhood Experiences (PACEs) and amplify trauma-informed awareness and care. Each regional group aims to advocate for changes across Policy, Program, Systems, and Environmental (PPSE) domains, incorporating a Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) lens.
