Resilient Middle Georgia Welcomes Public Health Communications & Research Intern, Raidah Rahman
Resilient Middle Georgia is proud to welcome Raidah Rahman as our new Public Health Communications & Research Intern!
Raidah is a first-year Master of Public Health (MPH) student at Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health, concentrating in Global Health. She previously served as an AmeriCorps Youth Refugee Educational Specialist with Catholic Charities, where she supported refugee youth through mentorship and academic guidance. With a background as a medical assistant and extensive volunteer experience in community clinics, Raidah is passionate about health equity, community engagement, and addressing the social determinants of health. She hopes to attend medical school and integrate her public health training into a future career focused on improving access to care for underserved populations.
In her role with Resilient Middle Georgia, Raidah supports the development of strategic communications and research materials, including infographics, policy briefs, and newsletters, while embedding evidence-based public health research into all content. She also assists with data collection, evaluation, and digital storytelling to highlight trauma-informed practices and resilience-building efforts across Middle Georgia.
We are thrilled to welcome Raidah to the team and look forward to the passion, creativity, and insight she brings to our mission of building a region of resilience. 🌿
