Join Resilient Middle Georgia for Child Abuse Prevention Month

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month! This is a time to recognize the importance of working together to strengthen families and communities while preventing child abuse and neglect. Families need to feel supported and safe in their communities to be able to raise resilient children and lower the risk of experiencing childhood adversity. Everyone can play a role in this important cause by building awareness, becoming educated, and taking steps in the larger community to stop childhood adversity.

Over the month of April, Resilient Middle Georgia and many of our partners, (Atrium Health Navicent, Macon Mental Health Matters, One Safe Place Macon, Project Aware Bibb County, and Macon Magazine) will be hosting and sponsoring events for the community. Resilient Middle Georgia will be offering multiple awareness events, trainings, and gatherings to help the community engage and take part in this important discussion.
